Rimini - Castel Sismondo

Santarcangelo - Rocca malatestiana
The historical references to the Fortress (one of the medieval castles of Rimini) dating from the late ninth century and refer to Federico Barbarossa, the struggles between Guelphs and Ghibellines, the tragedy of Paolo and Francesca and the long rule of the Malatesta (1248/1471).
